Is your suspension wire B04 low carbon quality?
Yes it is!
We call our wire C4D, which is a B04 equivalent trademark. The steel rod composition for C4D and B04 has the same chemical composition and therefore the same qualities of elongation, tensile strength and pliability. C4D and B04 standards mean that the wire is manufactured from a low carbon steel that has a maximum of 0.04% carbon content thus ensuring the highest quality graded wire and yet pliable by hand.
Do your large coils come with former stands?
Our large coils come strapped with 4 handling rings/hooks and can be easily lifted off pallets on to a former stand should you have/need one. We do not supply former stands with our large coil orders. Should you wish to purchase stands though ourselves we are happy to talk to you about this on a bespoke customer basis. Alternatively, this could be a good time to save on storage space and try using one of our large coils stand alone!
What are your delivery timescales?
We have a large warehouse next to our offices in the UK and hold stock of the most widely used wire specifications and therefore can ensure timely delivery to your site anywhere in the UK and Ireland. Should any items be out of stock we will ensure to advise you of this and subsequent delivery times at the time of ordering. Standard delivery for stocked items 3-4 working days, for an additional cost we can offer a 24-hour next day service.
Can you organise delivery to our site?
Quantum Wire’s logistics division runs 4 flat-bed, 44 tonne tractor units, we are happy to deliver to anywhere across the UK and Ireland. Should we experience an especially busy period we have forged links with local distribution companies to provide contingency cover so our clients needs can still be met. Standard delivery 2-3 working days for in stock products.
What is your minimum order for suspension wire?
For black annealed low carbon C4D or standard suspension wire we have a minimum order of 1 tonne.
For new customers do you offer a product guarantee?
We feel it is very important for all our new customers to feel reassured when taking the step to use a new wire supplier by offering a customer returns guarantee. For all new customer first deliveries, Quantum Wire undertakes to withdraw, at our own expense, any material that does not prove suitable for the required use. We are extremely confident in the quality of the wire we supply and have never had a new customer have to enforce our guarantee.
