Galvanizing Sector

We understand the quality and strength needed for suspension wire used within the hot dip galvanizing industry.  As a safety critical product our wire has been annealed to the highest standards, tested for tensile strength and elongation and remains pliable for tying by hand.

Our black annealed iron wire is low carbon C4D quality which is an equivalent measure to B04 standard. C4D and B04 standards mean that the wire is manufactured from a low carbon steel which has a maximum 0.04% carbon content thus ensuring the highest quality and strength.

The annealing process that creates our products uses modern computer controlled annealing ovens which provide consistent, scale free wire and rigorous tensile strength.

Every order comes with certificates of quality, testing and traceability to demonstrate the high standards and pride we take in our wire. Each batch is tested for tensile strength and elongation before distribution. This ensures our clients can have high confidence in every order they receive.

All our suspension wire quotes will be for C4D (B04 equivalent) grade wire.  If you wish to receive a quote for standard grade wire please advise us when requesting a quotation.

We hold stock of the most commonly used diameter and lengths for suspension wire in low carbon C4D quality grade.  Should you require any different specification we will advise you of current stock availability and delivery times at the time of ordering.

Quantum Chemicals was formed to support the importance of an effective pre-treatment process within the galvanizing industry.  Without an effective pre-treatment process the molten zinc may not adhere as effectively to the steel to form a hard-wearing and protective surface coating.  For further information please see details below.
