Higher recycling rates for N.Ireland = more baling wire!
The provisional ‘Northern Ireland Local Authority Collected (LAC) Municipal Waste Management Statistics April – June 2013’, published on 24 October announced that landfill rates had fallen below 50% for the first time for the country. Whilst the recycling and composting rates rose…anyone require more baling wire in Ireland?! Good news all round for recycling!
